Romania, part three

Even more pictures from Romania, this time wildlife, houses and a few details. Only the landscapes themselves remain to be posted – but they are the vast majority of my pictures. (Earlier pictures here and here.)


A few wild animals
During the week in Romania I have taken amazingly few pictures of wild animals, and even fewer of plants. I can think of several reasons for this: compared to the landscape, the people and the domesticated animals, the wild animals we encountered were spectacularly unspectacular (maybe with the exception of the fire-bellied toads and the flock of storks on the final day). Another reason can be that, travelling with a large group of biologists, it can be hard to photograph a wild animal without any hands and/or cameras getting in the way…
