Nuuk, the capital of Greenland.

Although I was in Nuuk for only a few days, for work, I managed to take a few photos. The town/city is interesting rather than beautiful, a mixture of old wooden houses, large ugly building blocks from the 50s and 60s slowly being demolished (one single building is said to be the home to 2 % of the entire population of the country), rather ugly modern buildings (a few nice ones too) and some more affluent residential areas. Houses and apartments in Nuuk appear to cost a fortune.

The surroundings of Nuuk are scenic but bleak, at least as far as I could see during my much too short stay.
